Latest culinary addition at City Link- New York New York. Always a queue without fail... after the meal... I wonder WHY?.....
The Fried Mushroom Cappuccino... it was really errr... foamy... didn't really like it... soup was rather salty!
Fried mushroom... yeah... I think I was feeling mushy that day... ordered another mushroom dish... comprising only 2 types of mushroom... Golden Mushroom and Shitake, I tot there were many types of mushrooms, why limit it to only 2 types? Rather expensive!
Looks kind of undercook isn't it? Sigh... disappointment... looks like it was just popped into the mircowave and put on high for 20 secs to melt the cheese before serving it... the food came out rather fast... kind of weird!
I think I can do this myself.... the meat ball was like any other meatballs... it was quite dry! Hardly any sauce at all... LOUSY!
Verdict: A no no... do not waste your time standing in the queue for this... though the decor is nice, the food really is lousy! I think you can get better food elsewhere!

Can you spell 'Gabbana'
The Devil Wears Prada
A delightfully movie about the all-time most impossible boss in the history of impossible bosses. Meryl Streep. She is a goddess. Acting is so effortless for her... her performances are flawless People say she is the highlight of the film. Yes! She is!Goofs in the movie that I read....
Continuity: When Andy is talking to Christian in the bar, her hair keeps changing position between shots.
Continuity: When Andy goes to the fashion party on Nate's Birthday her hair ornament is a white butterfly, but when she finally gets home it has changed to a white flower.
Continuity: The height of the candle in the cupcake alternates between shots.
Continuity: When Andy is having dinner with her father, his glasses are on/off between shots.
Continuity: When Andy Sacks is talking to Nigel, outside New York and photographing the "Urban Jungle" shoot, at the end of their talk Andy pushes her hair behind her ears with one thin strand in front of her ear. The next time you see her, a second later, all her hair is over her ears.
Factual errors: At the end of the movie when Miranda calls Andy in Paris, Andy looks at her T-mobile sidekick and its ringing. The phone shows Miranda's name and under it, it says, "Connecting." For it to say that, Andy would have had to call Miranda and her phone wouldn't have been ringing.
Miscellaneous: When Andy leaves the office the door clearly says pull but when everyone goes through it they push the door.

Kuriya - Raffles City
Had dinner with William, Xiaowei and dear at Kuriya (means kitchen in Japanese)The place to enjoy high quality food & good rice wine. Too bad we are not into sake. The menu offers a wide range of dishes prepared in various Japanese culinary styles, from grilled, steamed, hotpots, deep-fried to sushi and sashimi. With such extensive offerings combine with descriptions of the various dishes, browsing through the menu does take time. And really we did take a lot of time... actually reason being... the ala carte food were very ex and we dunno what to eat! Too expensive!!! So verdict.... Nice decor... expensive food... good company!
Tong Shui Cafe
糖水 – Tang Shui in Mandarin, and Tong Shui in Cantonese. We ordered the Crispy Mango Prawn Roll... might as well call it prawn roll... no mango at all... the Banana with French Toast and Maple Syrup was ok... weird to eat banana with bread though. The Paper Wrapped Chicken was not bad... Drinks we had Pomelo Mango and Eight Treasure tea. - $25/=
Dinner with Martin
Martin is flying off... so had dinner with him at Sushi Tei, the one at FES.... didn't really take alot of pictures cos was so hungry! And the waitress who served us was new... so the food served was not what we wanted... in the end, the manager reprimanded her and Xiaoming saw her crying in the pantry area! Poor thing... but it was not our fault! Blame it on the menu!
Hing Wah
Mint Chocolates!
Sketches
Chippy - British Take Away
Was at Raffles City walking around before the Fireworks festival... walked pass this many times... but just looking at the oil was quite sinful.Tried their fish and chips... watched the crew deep-fry the fish pieces right in front of me and waited eagerly for it to be ready. Got real worried when I saw how oily it was. How did it taste? Well... nothing to shout about la... :)
After this... I got ulcers... see... how heaty the food is... next to try is the fried sausage with cheese....
