KOPI TIAM - Swissôtel The Stamford

Kopi Tiam has one of the widest selections of authentic local favourites. This is the place to enjoy hawker fare and catch "live" cooking at the stations on weekends. Today's "live" cooking was roti prata... it cost $9+++ for a PRATA WITH EGG.. someone please say WOW!!

The pamplet says to try their signature dishes like Laksa and Fish Head Curry or other favourites such as Braised Egg Plant, Crispy Pork Chop and Pan-fried Crayfish. So we tried their Fish Head Curry and Coffe Pork Chop today... disappointed I must say, I have tried their curry fish head before and I like it the last time, but tonight, I was disappointed. It was not that good at all... though much better than MUTHU CURRY at Suntec. Perhaps they change their chef or something! Bring back the old chef please! The Coffee Pork was the ultimate... it was really normal!

An array of beverages is available to choose from, including soya bean milk, bandung and home-made barley. Free flow @$5.50+++

Oh.... they are having a 30% off total bill now for the GSS till end of July... so if your're in city hall and need a place to rest those tired feet and fill your tummy... perhaps you can give this place a thought during the discount period!
