Teahouse - The Asian Kitchen

Have you visited the new the new Raffles Marketplace, Basement 1. From fashion boutiques to book and music stores, from restaurants and cafés to designer home emporiums, it's a blossoming of new shopping and dining experience for every aspect of your life I must say! A big maze... we didn't know how to get out of it!

We had dinner at Teahouse... the manager recommended us the Roasted Duck with Sour Plum Sauce. To be frank, the duck was very good... the meat was juicy, moist and tender. The sour plum sauce we thought was quite average. Would love to try the other flavours... I think they have 3 different sauces. But I think nothing beats the one at Dian Xiao Er.

This Cabbage with Century Egg and Salted Egg was very watery, quite lousy actually. The taste did not really go with the veggie itself... the use China Xiao Bai Cai which was not very nice... still cannot beat the one at Imperial Treasure.

This was another dish that was recommended by the manager... but it turned out quite bad! The taste was just so so so plain. Really nothing special about it. All in all... the food was ok... nothing fanastic..
